The Prospective Graduate Student Journey

April 25 | 9:45 AM – 10:45 AM PT | Location: Yerba Buena 1-3

Join us as we discuss the current landscape of graduate student recruitment and how institutions can be prepared to respond to student needs and expectations. We will walk through the Graduate student journey and discuss student recruitment by reviewing relevant trends and diving deeper into specific areas that directly impact enrollment. Foundational market research, the competitive landscape, demand for degree and non-degree programs, graduate website best practices, digital advertising, CRM execution, and more will all be included in this presentation. We’ll also share practical strategies for applying these insights to your enrollment efforts today and takeaways to help you thrive in future times of rapid change.

The Carnegie/NAGAP Prospective Grad Student Survey: Their Unfiltered Opinions on Social, Search, and Your Website (NAGAP Joint Research with Carnegie)

April 25 | 3:15 PM – 4:15 PM PT | Location: Golden Gate C1-C2

Carnegie recently surveyed thousands of prospective students and asked all sorts of questions surrounding their graduate school search and decision-making journey. Where are they spending their time or doing their research? What got them interested or what turned them away? What made them click and what made them say ‘yes’? We dug into their mindsets, their online behaviors, and their process for taking the enormous steps towards a potential graduate education. Join us, as we review the highlights from these surveys and offer insights and recommendations on how you can best strategize and respond for your next recruitment cycle and beyond.
