Slate Front-End Strategist
Slate Front-End Strategists are in charge of the day-to-day operations and strategic success of their clients’ Front-End Slate projects by building high-quality, custom-built Portals and front-end tools for institutions interested in synchronizing the student life cycle through the capabilities provided by Slate.
Responsibilities:
- Slate Front-End Projects
- Own the customization and build/maintenance of Slate features such as Portals, Reports, Events, Upload Datasets, and Queries, namely with Configurable Joins and Custom SQL, etc.
- Actively communicate with clients about Slate builds, explaining processes, strategy, and implications over scheduled check-in calls or in writing
- Collaborate closely with members of the client project team (Accounts, Creative, and Slate Strategist Associates) to ensure smooth and accurate project operations
- Slate Front-End Strategy
- Play a crucial role in Portal and front-end tool creation alongside the assigned copywriter, providing strategic insights based on data structure and industry trends
- Provide industry best practices to ensure code is scalable and efficient, with the ability to handle all data types
- Internal Project Contribution
- Contribute to team innovation ideation conversations, taking ownership of projects, processes, and integrations that interest them and meet the needs of the team
- Supervisory Responsibilities
- Potential to directly manage one Slate Strategist Associate, meeting regularly with them, providing mentorship and guidance, and overseeing their growth and development
Qualifications:
- Thorough knowledge of Slate Portals and Reports; working knowledge of programming languages such as HTML and CSS for web page manipulation
- Excellent organizational skills; attention to detail, multitasking, prioritization, and decision-making skills
- Interpersonal skills to positively collaborate with team members and represent the company to clients
- Effective communication and time management skills for a remote work environment as well as the ability to use/learn multiple technology platforms and switch between them on a regular basis
- Must be able to work at a computer for prolonged periods
Experience
- Associate/bachelor’s degree or equivalent life/work experience
- Minimum of one year of intermediate to advanced experience in Technolutions Slate CRM; experience within the Portals or Reports module required
- Minimum of one year of experience in higher education
