Project Manager, Search
The Search Project Managers possess proficient experience working in teams and show a strong affinity toward the organization of project timelines, documentation, management of team schedules, and strong communication around project status. This role ensures the effective planning, execution, and analysis of multichannel marketing campaigns and strategic initiatives aimed at attracting and enrolling students. By leveraging data-driven insights and strategic marketing techniques, the Search Project Manager plays a crucial role in optimizing enrollment outcomes and enhancing the institution’s ability to meet its recruitment and financial aid goals. They should be comfortable with the enrollment strategy aspects of the position, and interested in learning more about Technolutions’ Slate CRM, list-based marketing, and the higher education space.
Responsibilities:
- Enrollment Strategy and Marketing Project Management
- Coordinate client projects from client onboarding to project planning to completion
- Collaborate with admissions and marketing teams to align strategies and tactics
- Works with the Account Managers to ensure that the client project team meets deadlines on time while meeting the defined strategy and goals of their clients
- Task and Asset Management
- Masters the use of Asana, effectively and autonomously assigns out tasks to the proper team members. Managing the workflow of those cards and overall project boards to ensure client deadlines and turnaround times are met
- Create comprehensive reports on campaign performance, enrollment metrics, and financial aid outcomes
- Ensures quality control of final client deliverables to ensure client satisfaction, troubleshoot problems as needed
- Ensures internal project teams have all the assets and information they need in order to do their work successfully
- Communication
- Communicate effectively and serve as the primary liaison between Account Managers and internal departments to define client needs and/or respond to concerns in a timely manner
- Create and maintain an open line of communication with Account Managers, relaying internal team updates and flagging task delays when necessary
- Communicate and create relationships with clients through Asana, providing notification of project updates and requesting assets and approvals
- Share call agendas and meeting notes with clients and/or Carnegie team members via Asana
Qualifications:
- Exceptional organizational skills, multitasking capabilities, and attention to detail to effectively review final deliverables and execute processes
- Ability to work under pressure and effectively organize and prioritize responsibilities relative to internal and external projects
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines to support teams in a timely manner
- Strong writing and communication skills to clearly collaborate with clients and team members
- Highly competent using Google Suites, specifically advanced Google Sheets and Google Slides skills for daily work
- Record of successfully managing complex projects from inception to closure
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Understanding of project management theories and how to apply them
- Dexterity and wherewithal to effectively deal with ambiguity, change, and continuous process improvements
- Interpersonal skills to positively collaborate with team members and represent the company to clients, with the ability to function as an equal partner on an autonomous team
- Asana experience a plus
- Effective communication and time management skills for a remote work environment as well as the ability to use/learn multiple technology platforms and switch between them on a regular basis
- Must be able to work at a computer for prolonged periods
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably with a concentration in Project Management, Marketing, or Advertising, or equivalent life/work experience
- 2–5 years of experience as a Project Manager or similar position responsible for defining and managing project scope/timelines and effectively delivering solutions
- Knowledge and experience in the higher education space preferred
