With major funding from the Gates foundation and through its own investments, Common App has built a sophisticated data warehouse architecture linked to a variety of business intelligence pipelines. This new capacity offers Common App, its members, and the higher education community at large insights into real-time application behavior on a national scale. We briefly review these developments at Common App, share several of the key insights we have uncovered in the course of this unprecedented application cycle, and offer some predictions for the future.
