Slate Summit 2025

Carnegie’s Slate Optimization team is heading to Las Vegas for Slate Summit 2025! We’re hosting a few pre-summit events and we’d love to see you at one or all of them!
Tuesday, June 24th at 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM PST
Join us for a comprehensive one-day workshop for all Slate users. This workshop will cover key features and modules aimed at optimizing your Slate instance—including Queries, Voyager, Reporting, and Portals. The sessions are structured to progressively build skills, with hands-on opportunities to enhance and achieve your enrollment and retention efforts. A light breakfast and a lunch will be served during the program. Camp Social will begin at 4:00pm PT after the training ends and will include refreshments.
Registration is $500 per person. Cancellations submitted two weeks prior to the event will receive a full refund. After that date, registration can be transferred to another attendee from your institution; no refunds will be provided.

We’re hosting two casual events at Bloq at the LINQ Hotel. Both events are free, but you must RSVP to reserve your spot!
Sip n’ Slate. This free, exclusive consulting event will get your problems solved and questions answered by our Slate Squad. These 30-minute consulting sessions are limited to one per institution.
Social. Join the Slate Squad for a fun (and free!) evening of good food and great company. Registrants can also bring guests!

Interested in migrating course planning into Slate? In this session, learn how the University of Southern Indiana built a seamless Plan of Study process for graduate students, guiding them from first semester to graduation. We'll demonstrate how to use prompt categorization, conditional logic on forms, and entities to streamline class planning, with a student-facing portal to display planned courses and a faculty portal for responses. We’ll also cover the necessary planning outside of Slate. Whether you're ready to go paperless or just exploring new Slate capabilities, this session will showcase powerful tools you can use for other processes.
