With impending demographic changes coupled with advances in automation and artificial intelligence, the new adult learner and their families will more critically assess financial decisions as it pertains to earning a degree or credential. They will look more at the return on investment not only in terms of dollars but also in the time they commit to the task of completing a course, credential, or degree. Reaching these potential students will be more challenging as their values and preferences have changed. This session will highlight new and exciting UPCEA research to help institutions better understand and connect to adult learner segments.
