Slate Strategist Associate
Slate Strategist Associates live within the Slate Communications team and are in charge of the day-to-day operations of their clients’ Slate Deliver campaigns. They also serve as strategists-in-training, gleaning mentorship from the Slate Communications Strategists they work alongside, and collaboratively provide clients with enrollment communications insights by analyzing campaign performance reports.
Responsibilities:
- Slate Campaign Configuration and Monitoring
- Assist Slate Communications Strategists with the build and maintenance of Slate Deliver campaigns for partner institutions, including email builds (no copywriting or designing), population/rule configuration, report builds, and more
- Own more complex builds independently over time as ready
- Actively monitor the entirety of each assigned campaign
- Collaborate closely with members of the client project team (Accounts, Creative, and Slate Strategists) to ensure smooth and accurate campaign operations
- Slate Campaign Strategy
- Assist in communication flow creation alongside the Slate Strategist and the assigned copywriter, providing strategic insights based on past campaign performance
- Analyze Slate reports to note takeaways and recommendations to optimize campaign performance and conversion
- Present strategic findings to clients via regular campaign check-in calls
- Contribute to Annual Campaign Assessments for each client, providing overall insights on key outcomes and recommendations for the next cycle in collaboration with the Slate Strategist
- Take on more strategic ownership of clients over time and start to own projects strategically as ready
Qualifications:
- Passion for communications operations and strategy; working knowledge of Deliver and drip campaign configurations a plus
- Excellent organizational skills; attention to detail, multitasking, prioritization, and decision-making skills
- Interpersonal skills to positively collaborate with team members and represent the company to clients
- Effective communication and time management skills for a remote work environment as well as the ability to use/learn multiple technology platforms and switch between them on a regular basis
- Must be able to work at a computer for prolonged periods
Experience
- Associate/Bachelor’s degree or equivalent life/work experience
- Minimum of 1 year of beginner experience in Technolutions Slate CRM; experience within the Deliver module preferred but not required
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in higher education
