    As Director of Research + Consulting at Carnegie, James Vineburgh develops and implements solutions pertaining to market research, data science, advertising, and digital marketing. James has been helping colleges and universities with enrollment management, brand positioning, search engine optimization, web content strategies, and advancement initiatives for over a decade. James is also a widely published scholar for publications such as the Stanford Social Innovation Review and data science organizations as well as a frequent conference presenter for organizations that include the American Marketing Association. Recent inquiry focused on the college search and selection experiences of non-traditional students. James holds a PhD in Educational Policy and Leadership Studies from the University of Iowa as well as a Master's degree in Educational Studies from Tufts University.
