Guest Policies
All Carnegie Conference programs are accessible to persons with disabilities. If you require special accommodations or auxiliary aids, please notify us of your needs in advance by emailing conference@carnegiehighered.com or calling 978-692-5092.
The Conference can accommodate food restrictions and allergies. Please note all needs in the registration information box or email conference@carnegiehighered.com. We will be sure options are available to meet your needs.
Carnegie will photograph the events of the Carnegie Conference and may use images for both internal and external purposes. By participating in the Carnegie Conference, you grant Carnegie the right to use your photograph for such purposes. All photographs, recordings, and quotes shall become the property of Carnegie and may be displayed, distributed, or used by Carnegie for any such purpose and in any media.
Wednesday’s Dessert Party at Epcot: If you’re planning to bring a guest to this event, you will need to purchase a Guest Ticket using the Carnegie Conference Registration form. This Guest Ticket includes a 5:00 pm entry into Epcot, access to the Carnegie Conference Dessert Party, and fireworks viewing. Epcot tickets purchased through Disney’s discounted page included access to the park but not access to the dessert party. Space for this event is limited so purchase your tickets as soon as possible. No individuals under the age of 21 will be permitted on the Isle de France patio.
Discounted tickets for parks are available through Walt Disney World. To purchase park tickets, please visit the Disney discounted ticket page.
Cancellation Policies
Please be advised that Carnegie will only offer a full refund before November 1, 2024. After that date, until December 31, 2024, we will offer a 50% refund. No refunds will be processed for requests that are received on or after January 1, 2025.
Full payment of the registration fee must be paid prior to the event. Acceptable forms of payment include check or credit card.
Carnegie is not responsible for contacting the hotel regarding any changes or cancellations to your resort reservations.
Liability Waiver + Release of Claims
By registering for the event, guests agree to the following statements:
I HEREBY RELEASE, WAIVE AND FOREVER DISCHARGE ANY AND ALL LIABILITY, CLAIMS, AND DEMANDS OF WHATEVER KIND OR NATURE AGAINST CARNEGIE AND ITS AFFILIATED PARTNERS AND SPONSORS, INCLUDING IN EACH CASE, WITHOUT LIMITATION, THEIR DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, VOLUNTEERS, AND AGENTS (THE “RELEASED PARTIES”), EITHER IN LAW OR IN EQUITY, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMISSIBLE BY LAW, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DAMAGES OR LOSSES CAUSED BY THE NEGLIGENCE, FAULT OR CONDUCT OF ANY KIND ON THE PART OF THE RELEASED PARTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DEATH, BODILY INJURY, ILLNESS, ECONOMIC LOSS OR OUT OF POCKET EXPENSES, OR LOSS OR DAMAGE TO PROPERTY, WHICH I, MY HEIRS, ASSIGNEES, NEXT OF KIN AND/OR LEGALLY APPOINTED OR DESIGNATED REPRESENTATIVES, MAY HAVE OR WHICH MAY HEREINAFTER ACCRUE ON MY BEHALF, WHICH ARISE OR MAY HEREAFTER ARISE FROM MY PARTICIPATION WITH A CARNEGIE EVENT.
I acknowledge and understand the following:
- Participation includes possible exposure to and illness from infectious diseases including but not limited to COVID-19. While particular rules and personal discipline may reduce this risk, the risk of serious illness and death does exist;
- I knowingly and freely assume all such risks related to illness and infectious diseases, such as COVID-19, even if arising from the negligence or fault of the Released Parties;
- I hereby knowingly assume the risk of injury, harm and loss associated with the Carnegie event, including any injury, harm and loss caused by the negligence, fault or conduct of any kind on the part of the Released Parties.
BY REGISTERING FOR, ATTENDING, OR PARTICIPATING IN THE CARNEGIE EVENT, YOU ARE DEEMED TO HAVE GIVEN A FULL RELEASE OF LIABILITY TO THE RELEASED PARTIES TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
